Privacy Policy
Vizno's end-user privacy policy - what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, your rights, retention, contact.

It is listed here in the Compliance Docs index so that auditors, underwriters, and payment partners (Plaid, Increase, payment processors) have a single inventory of every published policy and attestation document.
Summary
The Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy describes, among other things:
- What information Vizno collects: account information, profile, communications, creator information (including tax forms and bank account information collected through Plaid), age-verification information where applicable, usage and device data, and player save data.
- How that information is used: to operate the Service, authenticate users, enforce content rating settings, process payments and payouts (including sanctions screening), power the Aldus AI authoring assistant for creators who use it, communicate with users, and comply with legal obligations.
- Who Vizno shares information with: a defined list of subprocessors including Hetzner (compute), Cloudflare (DNS, edge, object storage), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI), Plaid (bank verification), Increase (US ACH payments), Payoneer (international payments), and named age-verification and sanctions-screening providers.
- The Plaid-specific clause: a dedicated statement that bank account information for ACH payouts is collected through Plaid, that the user authorizes this collection during the Plaid Link flow, and that Plaid's own End User Privacy Policy governs Plaid's handling of the information.
- Data retention: high-level retention periods. The detailed retention schedule (by data class, in tabular form) lives in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
- User rights: access, correction, deletion, portability, objection/restriction, opt-out of sale/sharing, non-discrimination, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.

Why this document is split across two URLs
The canonical, end-user-facing copy of the Privacy Policy is at /legal/privacy so that users can find it from the site footer and during sign-up. The compliance index here is a separate surface intended for auditors and partners; it points back at the canonical copy rather than duplicating its content, so there is no risk of the two URLs drifting out of sync.
